Our Early Childhood Development centre in Triunfo for children aged 1-6 years old
JCM uses a play-based approach and activities for its early childhood development program. These activities and practices we draw from Montessori, Waldorf and Reggio Emilia pedagogies. The program builds gross motor skills, fine motor skills, self-confidence, logic, problem solving, language, self-regulation, social intelligence, emotional intelligence and love of life-long learning.
We believe that Focusing on play-based learning in the early years leads to greater confidence, better health, increased happiness, and better academic performance in the child's future.

Kindergarten @ Rua Tchamba
Our 5-6 learning space in Somerschield.
Our learning space at Somerschield is predominately in English. We believe that a child must have solid foundational skills in the reading and writing of 1 language before reading and writing in a second language can be introduced. We focus strongly on phonics and letter/sound recognition and re-creation in literacy. In numeracy our work is driven by the need and importance to develop a strong sense of number, and mathematical thinking.

From the age of 5 our pre-primary program is offered at both our Triumpho and Somerschield campuses. Parents, teachers and the child can choose which campus better suits the needs of the child.
