Our mission is to celebrate the uniqueness of every child by providing a child-centred education that emphasises personalised attention from our dedicated teachers. Through a holistic approach, we guide and support our students' learning journeys, ensuring they thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Initially Jardim das Criancas de Maputo was an Early Childhood Facility in Maputo. It catered for children from the age of 1 to 5. Over the years we have expanded to open a Primary School catering until grade 6. In August, 2023 we launched our Hybrid learning Hub for students in grade 7 - 12.
We believe in learning through play and letting the child determine the learning at their pace. Our play based program in the early years leads gradually into a more teacher directed environment in the primary years. Whilst still maintaining a strong foundation in literacy, numeracy and other academic skills.
Our high school learning hub whist maintaining academic rigor continues to focus on the 21st century skills and entrepreneurship.

Little Munchkins
It's about the little things
Short morning sessions for parents and babies & toddlers. Children from 6 months to 2 years of age. A time for parents to connect with other parents and for babies to play. JCM provides the space and the provocations.
Creche/Nursery
Fostering a growth mindset & embracing curiosity
We accept children from the age of 1. Our bilingual creche program draws its influences from Maria Montessori, Waldorf Steiner and Reggio Emelia approaches in early childhood education. Focusing on developing the whole child. Always putting the child and their needs at the centre of everything we do.
Pre-School/Kindergarten
Nurturing creativity, kindness & emotional well-being, whilst embracing diversity.
Following on from the creche program our bilingual pre-school program is also play based and draws its influences from the founders of child centered education. Catering for children from 3-6 years old they start to develop early mathematical and literacy concepts as well as their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive selves. We actively work to develop the whole child.
Primary School
Fostering collaborators and critical thinkers
Around the age of 6 children transition into our international primary school program. Classes are multi-aged and maintain very low teacher child ratios. The teachers determine what needs to be taught based on international curriculum standards. Each child being catered for in their own individual way.
Cultivating a supportive environment whist building confidence and setting high expectations.
At the completion of Grade 6 children move into our Hybrid Learning Hub. A physical space with onsite educators and learning facilitators where online and distance platforms are utilised to meet academic needs and obtain international high school certifications.
Flexi Time
Protecting family and cultivating community.
Full time schooling isn't for everyone. We allow families to choose a part time option and place no mandatory number of days to attend. We firmly believe every child is different and every family is different. This is our way of catering to different family needs.
